Hello and welcome to my class. I have been with the Etiwanda School District for 6 years now and
have also worked in the Cucamonga School District. I am married to Mr. Cataldo who is also a teacher,
at Rancho Cucamonga High School. We have been married for fourteen wonderful years. I have two
children, a 12 year old daughter in 8th grade and a 7 year old son in 2nd grade. I love spending time
with my family; they are the most important part of my life. I have three dogs and four cats and I love
them all. My favorite thing to do when I have free time is to read a good book. I have wanted to be
a teacher since I was 3 years old. I have taught 7th grade at Heritage Intermediate, 2nd and 3rd grade at
Perdew Elementary, and 1st grade at East Heritage Elementary. I am a graduate of the University of La
Verne and hold a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, a Mild/Moderate Specialist Credential and
a Masters Degree with a Special Emphasis in Education.
My goal for the year is to make learning as enjoyable as possible for all
my students. I want to provide my students with a love of learning. I would
like all of my students to grow into successful members of our community. I
will engage my students and encourage them to do the best they can at all
times. We are going to have a wonderful year and learn a lot. It will not be
easy, so I need your support in this process. Thank you and I’m looking
