Mrs. Todd
Time surely flies by! I have been teaching for many, many years and I am
still excited to be in a wonderful profession. I have taught K, 1st, 2nd,
4th, and 5th grades! When someone asks me what grade I like the best, I
honestly have to answer, all of them, because I love the children!
A bit about myself. I am married to a great guy, have two grown children, a
six year old granddaughter, and three 19 month old grandchildren. One little
girl (my daughter's littlest one) and two twin boys (my son's little ones).
It is a fun and loud gathering when we all get together, but I love it.
I have been teaching for over 28 years now! I started as a Pre-school
teacher, and from there went up the grades, teaching everything from K -5,
with the exception of 3rd (though two years ago I was assigned a 2/3 combo
that was changed to a straight 2nd, so I do know the curriculum:)).
I have my BA from Chapman Univerity, an ME in curriculum and a second ME in
Adminstration. Yes, I love to learn as much as teach it seems.
I am looking forward to a great year!!!

My desire to is help each student learn to their highest potential, create
routines that your child can follow ie: returning homework, completing class
assignments on time, etc, and have fun while doing so. These early years
will set the path of being successful in school. You will see your child
learn daily, go from non-readers, readers, to readers that can comprehend
what they have read! It is a very exciting time.
