Students:
Check the agenda when you have a question. Sometimes further clarification to an assignment will be added after your class has been dismissed. If you still have a question, please email me. You may also wish to browse through the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
Parents:
Parent Connect is an extremely limited resource. It will only tell you that there is a problem after the fact. Because this is a Language Arts class, most work will be graded in packets. If a student is remiss in completing or turning in small parts to packet work, he/she will be heading quickly to a low and possibly failing grade. Parent Connect cannot inform you of incomplete parts to an assignment.
Monitor students using the daily agenda link on this site. You will be able to see what students did in class on any day, what was due and what work is pending. I do not have time to track individual students; however, if you would like to partner with me to monitor your student, print the Home Work Tracking Document. I will be happy to utilize this resource for two to three weeks to assist in establishing better work habits.
