May 22 - 26 (Open House on Thursday!) Notes for this week: 1. THANK YOU!! Thank you so much for such a special teacher      appreciation week last week. I felt so spoiled by the delicious     coffee cart, fruit, flowers, and gift card to Cheesecake Factory-     yum! It's been such a pleasure working with such sweet,      adorable children this year. I will really miss each and every one      of them. 2. This will be the last week of spelling. Next week will be the last     week of homework.      3.  Open House: Our yearly open house will be this Thursday, May 24.      Please come by to see your child's wonderful work! 4.  Coming up:        •Thursday, May 24 - Open House      •Thursday, May 31 - 2nd Grade Australia Performance 6:30 p.m.         (student costume:  khaki pants/skirts/shorts; white shirt;        bandana)      •Tuesday, June 5 - 2nd Grade Field Day & Picnic      •Thursday, June 7 - Last Day of School (minimum day) Thanks again for all of your support.  Have a good week!
