I was born and raised in Anaheim and have gone to private school all of my
life. I am a graduate of Prince of Peace, Anaheim; Lutheran High, Orange;
and Concordia University, Irvine. I played sports throughout elementary and
high school and have always bowled. While at Concordia I had the
opportunity to coach basketball at a high school. I use a lot of that
experience in my coaching today.
I have always known that I would become a teacher. I got my first teaching
experience while I was in college. I was lucky enough to finish the school
year for a Pre-K class when their teacher left. From that experience I was
hooked. I started teaching 3rd grade here at Zion in 1998. In 2000, I made
the move to Jr. High. This year will be my 11th year of teaching - all here
at Zion.
