WELCOME TO FIFTH GRADE!
Dear Parent(s),
Thanksgiving is now behind us, and the next few weeks will really fly
by!
Don't forget our field trip on Tuesday, December 1st, to the "Glory of
Christmas" at the Crystal Cathedral. We will leave Zion by 9:00 A.M. so that
we can be there by 9:30 A.M. I will need to pick up the reserved tickets at
the box office at least 30 minutes prior to the 10:00 A.M. performance.
I am hoping that we will return to Zion around 11:40 A.M. which is our
scheduled lunch time. If your child has ordered the hot lunch, it will be
there waiting for him/her.
The next event on your busy December calendar should be Wednesday,
December 9th, our 4th-8th grade Advent (Christmas) presentation at 7:00 P.M.
Information about this service went out before Thanksgiving.
Last, but not least, make sure that you circle Friday, December 18th, on
your calendar. This is the date of the annual Bakalyar Christmas brunch. I
would like everyone to participate in some way (earn those parent
participation hours) so that the burden does not fall on the room parents'
shoulders. Look for Joann Stoltzner's emails and jump in and lend a
hand.
