BIBLE STORY: “Jesus is Born!” God, in grace and love, sent His Son, Jesus, to be born on earth so that
He could save us from our sins.
MEMORY: Jesus came into the world to save sinners. 1 Timothy 1:15
PHONICS: Introduce the short vowel, “I,i”, (igloo, insect, inch). Please listen carefully as your child
learns to distinguish between the vowel sounds of “a, i and o”.
MATH: Matching a number to a set of objects; naming a shape piece; identifying a missing piece in a
matrix; acting out story problems using pennies; identifying time to the hour.
UNIT STUDY/CHRISTMAS AROUND the WORLD: Advent chain; United States; Mexico; Switzerland.

Kindergarten through grade 3 will be participating.
