About The Teacher
This is my 13th year teaching at Creekside Middle School. My first nine years at Creekside were spent teaching 7th grade English and History while also serving as Activities Director, 8th grade basketball coach and English and History Department Chair. After nine years at the 7th grade, I made the switch to teaching 6th grade English and History for a few years. I am one who enjoys the experience of doing new things and when a full time PE position opened up for the start of the 2009 school year, I decided to make a complete switch to teaching full time PE as well as serving as Creekside's Athletic Director. This current year, I am teaching four periods of PE, serve as the Athletic Director and teach one period of 6th grade World History. My wife Jill is a former Creekside teacher who now stays at home with our two children, Emma (6) and Luke (5). I feel very fortunate to be working at Creekside on a daily basis, along side a great staff and a wonderful group of students.
