Poetry Tuesday.  History Chapters 7-10 Wednesday.  Review sheets have been passed out, they have pages of notes and know exactly what to know.  Practice, prepare, and handle your business.  Please get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.</strong></div><div><strong><br /></strong></div><div><span class="c1"></span>2.16--The Monroe Doctrine newspaper article is going to be due Monday instead of Friday.  <br /><br /><div><span class="c1"><strong>2.10--The online portal for grades is coming!  The official launch date is 2.20 and I have been told that letters will be sent home with your student on Tuesday 2.21.  if you are having trouble viewing grades or setting up an account, let me know immediately and we will get it sorted out.  I'm excited about this new tool to provide additional support for your students!</strong><br /><br />2.7--English Benchmark is on Friday.  The review sheet is posted under English Documents.  There is also extra grammar practice under LINKS.  Please call or e-mail if you have any questions or concerns! 510-919-7434<br /><br /></span><div><span class="c1"><strong>2.2--The Youth to Youth conference offers a place for young people to get together and engage in team building, individual growth, and fun activities all leading toward a healthy lifestyle.  March 3rd is the day and you can register at <a href="https://mail.cv.k12.ca.us/owa/redir.aspx?C=6f5ade5df5d14c91b333e301bfc0161b&URL=http%3a%2f%2fwww.cvcan.net" target="_blank">www.cvcan.net</a></strong></span></div><div><span class="c1"><br /></span></div><div><span class="c1">2.2--The English Benchmarks are next week.  Tuesday will be the writing benchmark.  Friday will be the multiple choice.  They will have review sheets and have been practicing in class.  I will be out on Wednesday and Thursday (2.8 and 2.9) so feel free to call with questions or concerns!</span></div><div><span class="c1"><br /></span></div><div></div><div><span class="c1"><strong>1.16--The History Unit 2 Benchmark is on January 25th!  <br />They will have a review sheet on Wednesday 1.18 so they can start working immediately.  We will be reviewing and preparing in class as well.  This is the last major grade on the quarter grade so if they want to keep or improve their grade this is their big chance!  Please e-mail with questions or concerns.  </strong></span><br /><br />1.9--The end of the quarter is the 27th so any late work needs to be in by the 25th!  Progress reports directly from me with all missing work were sent home to be signed last week so if you haven't seen them check in with your student or directly with me.  They're working hard, and it's getting down to crunch time for the semester grade.  <div><br />
<div><strong>12.20--They DO have homework over the break!  The assignments are posted under the Homework tab and the necessary documents can be downloaded from the Documents tabs for each subject.  It's not much, but it does need to be done before we get back.
