Dear Families,
We’ve been busy this trimester! In reading, we finished exploring
the theme “Medicine, Past and Present” and started a unit on “Survival”. In
Math, we finished Chapter 5, 6, and 7 on Multiplication, Division, and
Fractions. We’re skipped over Chapter 8 and are learning about Decimals in
Chapter 9. In Writing, we’ve mastered Narrative, Summary, and Response to
Literature essays in preparation for our big statewide writing test on March
3. In Social Studies, we are learning about California Native Americans,
Explorers, and Missions. In Science, we learned about Electricity with Mr.
Mansfield and Fast Changes with Mrs. Morgester.
More Important Dates
Thursday, March 5 – Minimum Day and Report Cards
March 6-April 5– No school for Track A
Monday, April 6 – Track A returns to school
