If you're working on /k/ at the beginning of the word, remember to make the
sound with the back of your tongue like a cough.
When you're just beginning, try the following list and say the /k/ sound
separate (break the word into sounds).
For example: /c/+/ow/ for the word "cow". Don't worry about blending the
word together until it's easy to make the /k/.
cow, key, cap, cape, keep, comb
Once you master blending words with /k/, try these harder drills:
Say each word combination and make them as different as possible
"key, tea", "cap, tap", "cab, tab", "can, tan"
