CHALLENGE MATH
A reminder:  Each new chapter in Math starts a new opportunity for students to see if they may be eligible to do challenge math homework and to opt out of regularly assigned homework.  
In order to do this they must score 94% or higher on the chapter pretest.  
Third graders will always take a pretest at the beginning of each new Chapter in Math.  
Pretest scores will be handed back to students and this will determine who is able to choose to do Challenge math homework.
A score of 94% or higher will make it so that students can do Challenge homework only and not have to complete regularly assigned homework.  
At the start of each new Math chapter, every child will be responsible for regular homework until pretest scores are handed back/announced.  Once it is determined that they scored above a 94% then they may do the challenge sheets and not have to do the regular homework.
