Weekly News

Dear Families,

Thank you for returning your permission slips for our final field trip of the year. There are just a few more to come in. We will be walking to Amador High School on Thursday to take part in the Science Extravaganza.  Please remember to send in a bag lunch as we will miss our scheduled lunch time. Mrs. Oxe will accompany us to this fun event!

Our only homework this week is to work on your ocean project, memorize the Poem of the Month, and read!  The ocean project is due this Wednesday!

Mark your calendars ...

Community Snack

No snack needed this week - we have plenty of left-overs. Thank You!

Please remember that our community snack should be as healthy as possible.  Some examples are:  cheese and crackers, salami, fruit, bagels with cream cheese (please send in already prepared), granola bars, goldfish, muffins, banana bread, pretzels, etc. We truly appreciate your generosity.
Please note: we have several children who are allergic to tree nuts and peanuts.

$$$ for the classroom - How you can help ...

Collect recyclable cans and plastic ... Another way to help is by bringing your recyclables to school on the last Friday of each month (unless otherwise specified).  Put your plastic and cans into separate bags, labeled Williams, and leave by the flag pole when you bring your child to school.  Thank you, Mrs. Lai for helping with this.  Our next recycling day is Friday, June 1st.

Purchase Scrip ...

Proceeds go directly to our classroom.  www.shopwithscrip.com  enrollment code DD9C1595972.  SCRIP is a great way to buy gift cards and help your child's classroom at the same time

May Birthdays ... Camille (1st), Ryan (11th).  Happy Birthday!
