Students will have approximately 50-60 minutes of homework every night!
(Monday-Thursday)
*Reading and Math are ALWAYS the following:
-20 minutes of reading 5 nights a week
(We also expect that students will ALWAYS have an appropriate, free choice
reading book with them at school.)
-math homework (Monday- Thursday nights)
*Instrument practice
-20 minutes on Tuesdays and Thursdays to reinforce class work (additional
practice time will be specified by instrumental music teachers)
-There will also be homework from other content areas as it applies to what
we are studying in class.
-Long-term projects will be sent home with a rubric and several days/weeks
to complete. Projects may require weekend work.
-Please review Friday Folders weekly. We encourage you to review errors on
assignments with your child to help them understand their mistakes and move
toward proficiency.
