We have a busy month coming up in January. Eastern Plains Middle School Honor
Band in Bennett is on January 7th and I will be there for the day with Baylee
and Zayna.
Clarinet Day at Metro State College is on the 14th and I will be there with
18 of our clarinet palyers for the day.
CMEA conference is the 27th - 30th so I will be at the Broadmoor for those 4
days.
Solo and Ensemble Contest is at the end of February in Limon and we need to
get busy on that music very soon.
BFL happens in mid April at the Colorado Springs School. There are nine
schools represented this year.
Eastern Plains Elementary Honor Band tryouts are due mid March with the Band
playing here in Calhan on May 3rd. I am expecting to have a large contingent
playing this year.
And last, but not least, our Spring Concerts here at the school.
