Band Homework
Practice time at home is when playing technique is developed and music is
learned. At home practice IS the band homework, and practice sheets are a
record of your completion of your homework. Practice sheets are due every
Thursday from 5th - 8th grade students, and are to be completed as follows:
Neatly print your name at the top.
Record your practice minutes each day.
Total your practice minutes for the week.
Have a parent sign the sheet each week.
Turn in your practice sheet to receive credit!
Missing practice sheets will be accepted for partial credit for one week past
their due date.
If a student has been ill for an entire week, has a broken arm, etc., they
should still turn in a practice sheet, signed by the parent, stating why they
were unable to practice. This will help with record keeping.
Blank practice sheets can be downloaded and printed at home from the Handouts
section of this website.
