Any student interested in Business, Culinary Arts, or Hospitality are invited 
to attend the Showcase of the Stars on Friday, January 22nd, 2010 from 9-1. 
This is held at Johnson & Wales University in Denver. Please make 
reservations by January 15th by calling the Events Office at 303-256-9313 or

Attention all senior taking college dual credit classes, PSEO OR AVP. Please 
request transcripts from your college before you leave high school and leave 
one with Ms. Parker for your permanent file. This is important when you 
request information later on if you attend different colleges, etc.  



PPCC is offering a brand new PSEO class designed to devlop skills and 
abilities for successful employment using GIS applications. GIS or 
Geographic information systems is a computer based data processing tool that 
utilizes computer hardward and software and geographic data to map, manage, 
analyze, display and model spatial information. Students may elect ot pursue 
a GIS certificate alone, or may earn this certification in addition to their 
associate degree program. This is offered to high school juniors and seniors!

Are you getting the credit you deserve? Get college credit while you're 
still in high school. Check out AVP, PSEO programs like College English, 
College American History, and College Chemistry. Enrollment is now closed for 
the 2009-2010 school year, but will reopen for the 2010-2011 school year. 


Job Corps is a no-cost education and vocational training program 
administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16 
through 24 get a better job, make more money, and take control of their 
lives. Students typically enroll to learn a trade, earn a HS diploma or GED, 
and get help finding a good job. For more information go to
