Greetings from the Principal
Wow! The month of September is just flying by. I am happy to report that the sixth grade students have now settled comfortably into the Middle School. Your seventh and eighth graders deserve a pat on the back for assisting in creating such a smooth transition.
Parent/Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, September 15th were a huge success. Middle School teachers were jam packed with conferences the entire day. If you did not get in to see your child's teacher and feel the need to do so, please call that teacher and arrange a meeting. Also, if you did not attend, you can expect to receive your child's CSAP scores and Colorado Growth Model report via the mail in the next couple of days. Please feel free to call any of the teachers or myself if you have any questions about the scores or the Colorado Growth Model. A great resource on the Growth Model is located at www.schoolview.org if you'd like to learn more about it.
School Improvement Committee will be meeting for the first time this year on September 22nd at 6:30pm in the Media Center at the school. If you did not get an invitation but would like to attend please feel free to come to that first meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend.
