What We Do

COUNSELING SERVICES-
Provide services to individuals and groups for the purpose of assisting them
to become fully functioning, confident, and competent students.

TRANSITIONAL SERVICE-
Assist with activities to prepare students and parents for movement between
grade levels and buildings.  Also assist students and families new to the
district or bulding as they adjust to the school environment.

ACADEMIC MONITORING/FOLLOW-UP SERVICES-
Collaborate with staff, parents, and community resources to monitor progress,
plan, and address the concerns of students experiencing difficulties in school.

CONSULTATION SERVICES-
Provide consultation services by sharing information with administrators,
staff, parents, students, and community agencies to better meet the needs of
students.

COORDINATION OF PEOPLE AND RESOURCES/REFERRAL SERVICES-
Coordinate the efforts of people and resources available to help studnets achieve their acdemic and 
personal potential.

ASSESSMENT/APPRAISAL SERVICES-
Assist with the testing programs within the school and interpret test results as necesary to faculty, 
students, and parents.  Counselor my also request and arrange specialized testing for students as 
needed.

DECISION MAKING-
Guide students to understand the relationships between personal quialities, education, training, and 
the world of work.

GUIDANCE CURRICULUM SERVICES-
Counselors will plan and/or offer small-group and large-group, developmentally appropriate 
instruction on a variety of topics.

COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL WIDE POSITIVE BEHAVIOR SUPPORT SERVICES-
Participate in the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive school-wide positive 
behavior support program.

CRISIS AND RESPONSIVE SERVICES-
Assit with crisis management and reponsive services.
