Welcome to the 5th grade-
I'm a native to Colorado and attended Littleton Public Schools before
graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder. This is my eleventh
yearwith DPS and seventh at Grant Ranch. I love teaching here because of the
enthusiatic students, supportive parents, highly qualified staff and
beautiful building!
When I'm not teaching, thinking about school or grading papers (which isn't
often) I love exploring the mountains with my husband, Eric, and my pup,
Beaumont, spending time with family & friends, cooking, gardening, reading,
traveling and seeing live music.
Eric and I have a new daughter, Sawyer, who was born on December 2, 2008.
SDhe lights up our lives and brings us much joy!!
I believe fifth grade is an important transition year for kids. My mission
is to help students evolve into independent, life-long learners. I hope to
inspire their love to read, write and do math through a variety of activities
designed so each student can achieve their maximum potential. In addition, I
strive to pass along my passion for learning about new places & people
through our Geography studies.
