I have been teaching social studies for 9 years. I have found middle school to
be my favorite age to teach.
Before I became a teacher I competed in rodeo's. After college I roped in the
Professional Rodeo Association. Competing in rodeo's across Colorado, Texas,
Oklahoma, Kansas and Wyoming. A severe car crash caused me to hang up my rope.
I have 2 of the absolute best dogs in the world. Their names are Rodeo Jack
and Toby. They are both weenie dogs. I do have somewhat of an obsession for
weenie dogs, just check out my room:)
Besides teaching US History I coach the MSMS and MSHS speech teams and sponsor
the MSMS
student council.
Students will learn to use critical thinking skills to analyze and draw
conclusion about historic events and how they have effected the world and how
they help predict the
future.
Throughout this class students will develop skills that will enable them to
excel at what ever their future may hold.
Students might actually have fun sometimes too:)
