Responsibilities: 1. Students will be held responsible in May for words we learn in August. Every test will have vocabulary from old chapters. 2. Students are responsible for spending 10-15 minutes a day studying! *Hint an excellent way to this is by creating flash cards. *Flash cards help students avoid serial learning. Grading and Homework: 1. Grades are based on 50% communication and 50% Homework Tests and Quizzes 2. Homework: Weekly a home connection worksheet will come home in Thursday folders. This is simply a sheet to reinforce what your child is learning in school. It does not need to be turned in. 3. Students will take a total of 6 tests this year over new material. All Tests cover Material from the previous chapters. 4. Make up work is available to students who are absent.
