Hi! I'm Mrs. Welles, your science teacher. I've been a teacher in Colorado for twenty years, and I love
every minute of working with kids. I've lived in Summit County for over two years, and enjoy hiking and
biking, and of course, skiing. I also enjoy reading and writing, and hanging out with my family and
friends. I have a daughter who is a 4th grade teacher in Fort Collins, a son-in-law who is a commander
in the Air Force, and a son who will be graduating this year as an engineering student at CU. Go Buffs!
My husband is happily semi-retired and is enjoying life in Summit County. We also have two large and
rambunctious dogs, Darla and Annie.
Our mission is to learn to think critically, observe carefully, and develop scientific reasoning in order
to be able to understand and improve our world.
