White Day
Seniors: If you missed graduation order day last week you will need
to complete the order on your own and either mail it in, or make the order
online. ALL seniors who plan to participate in the graduation ceremony
need to order a cap and gown, the rest is up to you. If you need a packet or
more information, see Mrs. Campbell in the office.
Seniors: Remember your senior picture and quote for the yearbook are
due by this TODAY, November 20th. They can be turned in at the office.
Students and Staff: Friday, November 20th there will be a Special
Assembly Schedule to accommodate a pep assembly as follows:
5th hour: 8:20 – 9:50
Assembly in Gym: 9:50 – 10:10
Break: 10:10 – 10:20
6th hour: 10:20 – 11:50
7th hour: 12:30 – 2:00
8th hour: 2:05 – 3:35
The following cheerleaders need to be released TODAY at 9:30 to get
ready for the pep assembly: Hannah Ramirez, Alley Wetzler, Catherine
Fisher, Genna Bradley, Journee Heinert, Lyndsey Chea, Brittany Salazar, Alisha
Repollo, Kate Rusk, Kaitlin McBride, Emma Litchenfelds, Charlotte Letson,
Skyler Barry, Erin Duran, Brittani Beckwith, Mary Mullen, Brandi Salazar,
Sydney Finkbohner, Hadie Quick and Linnea Franke.
Here’s the chance of a lifetime! For only $1.00 you can buy
a chance to smash a pie in the face on your favorite administrator, school
resource officer, or campus supervisor. You vote for the person you would most
like to feed a pie by dropping your dollar in the jar with his picture on it
in the commons at lunch time, or stop by Mr. Hensen’s desk in the office.
If your ticket is drawn, you get the pleasure and satisfaction of stuffing a
pie in the face of either Mr. Taulman, Mr. Lamansky, Mr. Hensen, or Officer
Carrell at the assembly on Friday, November 20th.
Avoid the long ticket lines before the Steamboat Sailors Second
Round State Playoff Football Game on Saturday, November 21st at 1:00 p.m.
against the Windsor Wizards. Steamboat Springs High School State Playoff
Football tickets are available for pre-sale at the High School. Tickets are
$7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students (ages K-12). Office hours are from
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and on sale through Friday, November 20th. Steamboat
Springs High School Activity Passes are NOT valid for State Playoff
Football Games.
Students: You are invited to attend the fall musical “Once Upon A
Mattress”. Performances are TODAY the 20th at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday
the 21st at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Students with a valid student ID and
activity pass pay $5. General admission is $10.00.
Junior Seminar: TODAY, November 20th at
2:00 p.m. in the library. Are you planning on going to college after SSHS?
Come learn about what you should be doing as a junior to prepare.
Students! ABSOLUTELY NO QUESTIONS REGARDING ELIGIBILITY after 12:00
p.m. on the day of a game!
