On behalf of the staff at SSHS we would like to send you warmest holiday greetings. The holiday season is an exciting time around our school with many activities for students to participate in or watch. Our football team has extended the fall sports season and will play in the Class 3A State Championship game Saturday, December 5 at 2:30pm at Legacy Stadium in Aurora. Our winter sports teams are gearing up with competitions during the month of December. We host the annual “Sailor Shoot-out” basketball tournament with an eight team bracket December 10 – 12. Our choir, concert and jazz bands will present a holiday concert on December 16 at 7:00pm. We are also reminded to support the many families in our school community who may be facing economic or personal challenges during this “festive” season.
