| I hope you all had a relaxing and fun Spring Break! Students are
furthering their word study and vocabulary enrichment by listening to the
oral reading of Holes, as they complete writing activities in class. There
is an interdisciplinary Geography/Holes Warm Up packet due this Friday,
5/2. I postponed the Cultural Fiction Book Talks with our Media Specialist
until next Tuesday, so the plot line with Holes doesn't get confusing.
In Geography, we will continue our usage of our atlases, with one
packet on the United States, and one on the World, due Thursday, 5/1. Our
present emphasis is still the 5 Themes of Geography, and the next curriculum
enduring understanding/emphasis will be on Culture.
