What We Are Learning

We are looking forward to a great year in Physical Education class!
Along with these skill themes and sports, we also focus on physical fitness, 
health, nutrition, rhythm and dance, as well as social skills development 
throughout the year.

Here is an overview of our tentative plan for the year!


Grades 1-2
1.  Physical Education Training Camp:  "Aim for the Stars"
2.  Working Together:  Teamwork, Cooperation, Social Skills, and Virtues.
3.  Kicking:  Basics of Soccer
4.  Volleying:  
5.  Tumbling and Gymnastics
6.  Basketball:  Dribbling and Ball handling  "Little Dribblers"
7.  Cross-Country Skiing
8.  Cup Stacking
9.  Jump Rope and Healthy Heart Curriculum
10. Striking:  Basics of Tennis
11. Sports and Games Unit: Lacrosse, Floor Hockey, Frisbee, and Yolf


Grades 3-5
1.  Physical Education Training Camp:  "Aim for the Stars"
