The Architects

Mr.  Leland Reece 
and Mr. Matt Kubus               
are two of the 
architects for the new school.   
They designed our new 
building.                          
                                   

Blueprints

The new Soda Creek Elementary 
School started with blueprints.  
Large  papers  with plans or 
descriptions  of  the  new school 
are kept in the construction 
office.  They  help the  workers  
know  what  to  do .

Construction Team

Here are some of the members of 
the construction team working on 
the   new   Soda   Creek  
ElementarySchool.   They  meet   
with   the  Miss Harris, our 
principal, every  week. 

Excavation

Lots of  machines were used to 
excavate the land.  Then they set 
forms to prepare  for the 
foundation.  There are big piles 
of dirt and gravel.

The Walls

The  walls  are  going  up for the 
school.  They  are made of cinder 
blocks.  The double walls are the 
stairwells.  The gym wall is also 
going up.

Pouring Cement

The cement trucks delivered the 
concrete. The pumper truck was 
used to pump the cement.  They 
started to pour the foundation the 
week of September 17th.
