The curriculum of the Steamboat Springs School District has its foundation in the Colorado State Model Content Standards. Within this defined curriculum, each school has the flexibility to make adaptations to more specifically meet the needs of its students. Teachers continually evaluate and choose instructional strategies based on the developmental levels, needs, and interests of individual students in their classrooms.

The Virtues program is an important component in our school.

In addition, Special Education Services, Enrichment Services, and Title 1 reading and math services are available to meet individual student needs. Technology and media center skills are applied as a tool for skill development and information acquisition in all subject areas.
