These items should have your child’s name clearly marked on them.
These are items that your child will use personally and he/she needs
to have them from the first day of school.
* 1 backpack with your child’s name clearly marked on the outside.
This will need to come with your child EVERY DAY. It should be big
enough to hold the notebook (below). Please do not get a rolling backpack.
* A sturdy three ring notebook/binder – 1 1/2” size – not zippered.
(This notebook will become your child’s poetry book. It will be a
much loved book that travels between school and home. It should be
of good quality to last the school year.)
* 75 clear economy weight plastic page protectors. Please put these in the
three ring notebook. We will fill them over the course of the year.
*Change of clothes including underwear, pants and socks. These should be in
a plastic bag in your child’s backpack everyday. Accidents do happen in
kindergarten even to the best of us!
* One pair of inexpensive headphones to attach to a computer for
your child to use in the computer lab. ($5.00 - $7.00) Please send
these in a zip lock bag. Be sure your child’s name is clearly marked
on both the bag and the headphones!
*An adult size cardboard shoebox with lid or a similar sized box. Send it
with your child’s name on it. We will decorate these the first weeks of
school. If you find an extra, that would be helpful as well.

Children will also need crayons, scissors, and glue at home to do
homework
