Best Time To Contact: If you would like to meet with me in the morning or
afternoon, please do not just drop by. Please email or call to set up an
appointment so I can make sure I will be in the room and prepared to meet
with you. I am usually in school by 7:30 and stay until 4:30 or 5; however,
due to meetings and prep work, I am not always available or in the room.
Thanks for helping me out with this. I am very flexible in meeting earlier

Behavior Plan: We will use the behavior card chart system to track, monitor,
and control classroom behavior in room 8 this year.
Each student will have their own set of cards located on the behavior pocket
chart located in the front of the room. If a student breaks a class rule, he
or she will be asked to pull a card.

behavior; Time Out will be no longer than 10 minutes and will be given

orange card, the student will be sent to see the principal and either the
teacher or principal will contact home
*BEHAVIOR CARDS WILL BE CHANGED AT THE END OF EACH DAY*

Incentives: I like to implement a variety of class incentives throughout the
year. They include positive notes home, student of the week, class recess,
and various class rewards or treats (i.e. popcorn parties. Starting in
September, students will be able to earn Bastoky Bucks to earn various class
rewards or treats. (more info on Bastoky Bucks to come!)
