Assignment due on Friday, November 6th:
1. Read each night for 15 minutes.
2. Do you have any math homework?
3. Be ready for a spelling test on Thursday.
4. Invention writing assignment (see below for instructions)
Tuesday we are heading on a special field trip to the Colorado Inventor Showcase. After the trip, please
select one of the following writing options for your homework. Please make sure your writing includes
a plan. It should be organized in at least one paragraph and be neat and easy to read.
Option 1: Write about something you learned and liked from the DaVinci presentation at the beginning
of the trip.
Option 2: Write about one of the inventions you saw in the exhibits. Describe how you think that
invention will be helpful today.
Option 3: Write about one of the inventions you saw in the exhibits. Describe how you think that
invention could be improved.
Challenge: Write a review of the entire field trip and showcase. Include information from Option 1 and
Option 2.
