About First Grade Math

We are including hands on manipulatives to teach math concepts. This manner
of teaching math allows students to see, feel and think about math concepts.
Once these concepts are understood they are applied in a more abstract way.
Our program includes high expectations for all students, collaborative
learning, and a balance among all areas of mathematics.
