Study Skills

 
The teachers at Vail Christian High School periodically incorporate study 
skill lessons throughout the course of study in their classrooms.  For 
students who struggle significantly with different issues including: test 
anxiety, difficulty taking notes, preparing for tests and quizzes, reading 
and writing difficulties, they are evaluated through our academic 
intervention program and are scheduled into the resource center.

Students who need some suggestions on improving or brushing up on these 
skills but are not in need of an intensive intervention could check out the 
following resources:

Sandra Burner - Area Director for Tutor Train providing services for small 
group tutoring or private sessions grades pre-K through high school.  
Subject tutoring available as well as study and organizational skills.
