ATTENTION STUDENTS:
-CONGRATULATIONS – to the following students for winning the State Conservation Poster Contest: 1st place winner – Connor Fraier; 2nd place winner – Grant Birkinbine and 3rd place winner – Jenna Kramer. All 3 students are now entered in the National Contest and they could win $100. Congratulations to all 3 of you! Well done!
-SCIENCE OLYMPIAD – is scheduled for February 27th in Fort Collins. It is time to get a team together and begin to develop ideas. Anyone interested in this competition, please see Ms. Mulliken, Mrs. Fulk or Ms. Schneider. This is a great opportunity you will not want to miss!
-SIGN-UP TO READ THE DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS – If you would like to read the announcements, stop by the office and sign-up!
-7TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL – practice begins today after school in the gym with Coach Lyons.
-2ND QUARTER MIDTERM REPORT CARDS – will be mailed home on Wednesday, December 9th.
-SCHOOL STORE - The store has new items such as: I-Tune Cards, football, basketball and soccer balls, Nerf balls, jewelry kit, sand painting, Dominoes, Yahtzee, stuffed animals and more! Stop by and see what is new and to use your “Caught-ya doing good” cards!
-CHESS CLUB – for 7th and 8th graders will begin Tuesday, December 8th at lunchtime in the Counseling Center. If you know how to play chess or if you want to learn how, grab your lunch and meet in the Counseling office. Game on! Also, the 6th grade chess club will continue to meet in room 175.
-GAME DAY TODAY! – Candyland? Connect Four? Uno? Battleship? Do you like games? Come and play! Each Thursday, during lunch, in the Counseling Office, it will be “Game Day!” Please bring your lunch, bring your friend and we will provide the board games!
-TEENS AFTER SCHOOL CLUB – is this Thursday after school. The club will be Rock Climbing here at the Middle School. Stop by the office and sign up!
-DO YOU WANT TO BE A SANTA WORKSHOP HELPER? - We have a new community service opportunity. The Optimist Club is looking for volunteers for Saturday, December 19th. Stop by the office to sign-up and for more details.
-REMINDER TO ALL OUR SKI AND SNOWBOARD STUDENTS – For your safety, Ski Patrol has asked us to remind you not to go in “closed areas” on the mountain. Unsafe practices on the mountain could lead to paying fines, jail time and loss of ski/ride privileges.
-WYLDLIFE – is scheduled for this Friday, December 11th at 5:45 for a Holiday Party! So bring your friend and come. It will be great fun!
