What time is snack?

Snack is one of our centers. Children can go whenever they are hungry.
We will make sure each child has snack. Also, snack milk may be
purchased for $0.30 a day.

Do you celebrate birthdays?

Yes. Children often bring in cookies, cupcakes or muffins that we eat
together as a class. We will sing "Happy Birthday" and the birthday child
wears a crown and receives a birthday pencil.

How can parents be involved in the class?

You may chaperone field trips. You may volunteer during centers time in
the classroom. If you have a special skill or talent you are welcome to
come in and share it with the class. You could also be a room parent
and/or help with parties.

What is their "journal"?

In PreK, we introduce children to journals. They draw pictures to go
along with our themes. Some of them may practice writing their letters.
It makes the transition to Kindergarten journals easier.
