| This is a list of rules that the class came up with together in the beginning
of the year.
1. Be nice to each other.
2. Listen to the teacher.
3. Always try your best.
4. Be safe.
5. Use quiet voices inside.
6. Keep your body to yourself.
The students have become familiar with the behavior plan in our classroom.
Each child has a green, yellow, and red card in a pocket chart. Everyone
starts the day on green. When a child is having difficulty making appropriate
choices, I will discuss the problem with him/her and the card will be changed
to yellow. The yellow card serves as a warning to slow down and think about
the choices that are being made. The student will not earn a coupon for the
day. If the child is still having difficulties making good choices, the card
will be changed to red. When a child is on red at the end of the day, I will
send a note home or call to inform parents about the behavior problems being
faced in school.
