This is my third year at Calf Pen Meadow Elementary School, even
though I have been teaching for 18 years. I have previously taught
Kindergarten at Pumpkin Delight Elementary School and Orange
Avenue Elementary School. I live right here in Milford with my husband
of fourteen years. We have three wonderful children. Our two daughters
are eleven years old and three years old. Our son is 7 years old. We
also have a Golden Retriever dog as a pet. Her name is Honey. Honey is
twelve years old and the best dog! In between bringing my children to
cheerleading, dance, Girl Scouts, Baseball, Cub Scouts and swimming,
I enjoy reading, bike riding and just "hanging out" with my family!
Full Day Kindergarten has changed over the past few years. The main
goal of our class is for the children to develop a love of school. I want
them to wake up each morning and want to come to school and want to
learn. When children look forward to being in school, they are ready to
read, write, learn how to be a good friend and be a positive part of a
community.
