I have worked for over 20 years as a social worker counseling children
and families. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Connecticut
State College, a Master's Degree of Social Work from the University of
Maryland and a Post-Master's Degree in Advanced Practice with
Children and Adolescents from Springfield College.
Prior to coming to Calf Pen Meadow, I was the Social Worker at West
Shore Middle School for four years. For ten years before joining the
school system, I was the Program Director of the Young Parent Program
of Milford.
I am the parent of two sons, Todd, 19 who attends college and Brad,
17, a junior in high school. In my free time I enjoy reading, home
decorating and repair projects, and gardening.
I feel very fortunate to have a career that has enabled me to get to know
and help so many awesome children and their families. I am especially
lucky to work with the terrific Calf Pen Meadow community.
My goal for the students at Calf Pen Meadow is that they will learn the
social skills necessary to be successful at school and in life.
