Our School's History
Our school name was derived from the American Revolutionary War Period. Our school grounds were used by American farmers to raise their cattle. The Colonists were afraid that the British would come and steal their cattle for meat. To protect the animals the farmers decided to hide the cattle in the low part of the hill. It was impossible for the British to see the cattle and the herd was saved.

Message from the Principal
Welcome to Calf Pen Meadow Elementary School! This will be my first year as the school's principal and I am looking forward to getting to know the Calf Pen community of teachers, students and parents. We at Calf Pen hold tightly to the deeply held belief that all students can learn. Our staff is highly qualified and uses a variety of proven teaching practices to ensure that every child is challenged to reach his or her fullest potential. I have an “open door” policy and encourage parents to stop by and introduce themselves. I am sure that this year will bring many wonderful learning opportunities for all of us here at Calf Pen Meadow.
"A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." - Margaret Mead
