HOW DO THE 3 LAWS OF MOTION APPLY TO THEME PARK RIDES?
This project was designed for you to learn about Newton's Three Law's of
motion. You will learn about forces, inertia, energy, and the effect they
have on the motion of objects. As a class you will design an amusement
park. Each group of engineers will be responsible for designing one ride.
Make sure you obey the Laws of Motion so that your ride is safe and enjoyable
and will draw people to your park. You will be graded for your individual
work and for your contribution to a group project. You will be using the
internet to gather essential information, background information, methods and
ideas for your group project. All groups will then put their ideas for rides
together and design a theme park. You will present your ideas to the
developer in hopes that your plan is chosen for the site. Only one of Mrs.
Deaver's classes will win the contract.
