Chapter 2 test Tuesday Nov. 24th - concepts will include: Photosynthesis, Cellular Respiration, DNA Replication, Mitosis, and Cancer. We will begin reviewing Friday.
Cancer Brochure Due Tuesday 17th - 6 panel - follow the directions and use your book.
This does not have to be typed but it has to be neat! If you want to try to type it:
you can try to use microsoft word
1) Create a 3 Column document on 2 pages 2) make sure you choose landscape in the page set-up
3) when you print you can tape or glue it together or try to re-insert the paper to print on both sides.

Due Wednesday - Extra credit food sample such as ONE of the following: a piece of cheese, 2 crackers, 1 small potato, a few pieces of dry cereal, a cookie, teaspoon of butter, or 1 small apple. (These are examples)
Due Tuesday(10/27)- Questions from the plant and animal cell lab.
Extra Credit - Bring in an old magazine or 2 no later than Wednesday 14th.

Wanted Poster Due - 9/22 - How many scientists do you think there are? How many branches of science?
In doing just a little research we can find out about a few a the great accomplishments in the field of science as
well as a view of the many areas of science.
Choose a scientist who's last name begins with the same letter as your last name.
State Branch of science or career of the scientist you chose.
What was their main accomplishment (or invention) and the approximate date of the happening.
Create a "Wanted" poster displaying the information you found include a title and picture.
On the back of your poster include source information (where you found information and pictures) as well as your
name (1st & last), date, and period (you may use the poster board I have or your own)
Due 9/15 - "Little Millie Metric" worksheet. Use the word bank at the top of the page to choose the word that best fits. You can only use a word one time.
Due 9/10 - In class we completed notes for the activity on page 179 (yellow box, lower corner). For homework use the following format to type the first parts of this lab:
