Due 10/21 - Read section 1.2. Take notes using a T - Chart and Vocab words using the 4 square. Refer to page 8 if you are not sure how to do this. Complete questions 1-3 page 19 Key Concepts.
Quiz Friday 10/16 - pages 8-13 reading and vocab.
Due Thursday October 15th - Special Project in Science (see link to the left). Your written portion is an outline. Please prepare your outline as if you are going to write an essay on the career you chose. You need to be prepared to share your findings with the class in a 1 to 2 min. presentation, including a poster and your outline.

Due 10/8 -Research at least 3 different plants - create a chart - and list what the plant needs and how much to grow...such as water, light etc...
Due 10/6 - Vocabulary for lab: Capillary Action, Molecules, Convex, Concave, Adhesion, Cohesion, Polar, Surface Tension
9/24 - Quiz - Scientific Method / metric measuring and tools
You should know a basic definition for words like:
Data, objective, variable, research, hypothesis conclusion, control
Also, look at your measurment sheets - can you read the thrmometer, graduated cylinder, and triple beam balance.
Can you use a ruler to the nearest cm
What units go with mass, volume, and length
Due 9/16 - Graphing Practice - you should complete what you did not finish in class. Please bring in 2 line graphs (in pencil) as well as all the questions in the packet. Please check your graph with the grading sheet to make sure you have everything.
Due 9/11 - All 3 measurement sheets we started in class should be completed. We will have a 10 question quiz. Period A Metric worksheet 30 problems this activity was started in class and we will grade at the beginning of class on Friday (30 points).
Due 9/10 - Periods B & D Metric worksheet 30 problems this activity was started in class and we will grade at the beginning of class on Thursday (30 points).
Due 9/3 - Book Covered - use paper or fabric cover. (This is a homework assignment)
