How will this webpage be useful to parents and students?

This webpage is designed to post homework assignments, provide links to help 
with homework, expand knowledge of concepts, and answer various questions 
parents and students may have about the 7th & 8th grade science program. 

This webpage will be updated as necessary.  Please check daily for important 
information and changes.

What materials will be needed for class?

Students in all classes will be keeping science notes in a notebook (could 
be spiral), students will need a place to keep handouts as well. All students
should have a pencil box or bag with 
pens, pencils, post-it notes, highlighters, colored pencils etc...

Always bring a pen and pencil.

Will the safety rules be explained before using the lab equipment?

All students will be required to read and follow all safety rules to 
participate in lab experiments. A brief explanation of these rules can be 
found in each science text book.

Can work be made up due to illness/absence?

It will be the responsibility of each student to meet with me to arrange a 
time to make up work.  Arrangements can be made to meet during lunch (8th
grade) or 
after school.

All students are encouraged to see me during lunch (8th grade) or after school
for extra 
help.

In the 7th grade classes we will study Earth Science and Life Science.

In the 8th grade classes we will study Physical Science.
