In his 23nd year here in the Clinton School District, Mr. Smith teaches
Instrumental Music at the high school as Director of the Morgan Band
program. Since 1991 Mr. Smith has also been teaching band at the
Pierson School where now he directs both the Pierson Beginning
Band program and Pierson Advanced Band.
Mr. Smith is also involved with several extra-curricular activities at the
high school including the Morgan Pep Band, Jazz program, and the
Sound / Lighting Tech Crew Advisor in the auditorium.
When not at school, Mr. Smith enjoys time at home in Moodus with his
wife Debbie and their 2 kids Chris and Vanessa. On a nice day in the
summer you might find him fishing out on Moodus Reservoir, kayaking the Connecticut river, or
more than likely just trying to keep the lawn mowed!
