Ms. Fitzgerald has been teaching in the Integrated Day Program since
its inception almost 27 years ago. She has a son named C.J. who
has just graduated from the University of Hartford, majoring in Mechanical
Engineering Technology. They like to ski together and enjoy their pet cat
Fufanu, whom C.J. named after a BMX trick. Ms. Fitz also enjoys cooking,
gardening, kayaking, running, calligraphy and other arts.
After 30+ years of teaching she still gets excited about discovering new
things.
To enable students to become skilled, enthusiastic learners who feel
good about their strengths and not discouraged by challenges.
