Mr. Hansen is in his 33rd year of teaching. He is a product of
the Clinton School System and currently teaches in the classroom
where he was a second grade student. He has taught first and fourth
grades through the years.
Mr. Hansen graduated from Middlesex Community College with an
Associate degree. He then went on to Southern Connecticut State
University where he earned his Bachelor and Masters degrees. He has
also done 6th year certificate work.
Mr. Hansen is an honorary member of the Clinton Volunteer Fire
Department having served in many capacities. He currently is an
elected member of the Clinton Board of Assessment Appeals serving
as Chairman. Mr. Hansen is also active in his church and enjoys the
old car hobby.
Mr. Hansen lives in Clinton with his wife and two daughters. He also
has three grown sons, two of whom are married. He is the proud
grandfather of five grandchildren.
The mission for our class is to come prepared for school each day with
an "I can" attitude and work to their full potential in a caring, respectful
environment.
