What are the school hours for Cross Street Intermediate School?

School begins at 8:20 and ends at 2:50.  Early dismissal days end 
at 12:30, 
and lunch is served on those days.

How do I report my child's absence?

Call 720-5227 if your child will be absent from school.  Also, 
send in a 
note or call if you are bringing your child in late or picking up 
early for 
appointments. Please try to minimize these occurrences, as they 
result in 
missed instructional time.

How can I find out about school news and events?

Check your child's backpack for newsletters, flyers and PFG 
information.  
Extra copies of these items can be found on the table in the 
front lobby.  
The main school website will also have information.

How can I be involved in my child's education?

Make it a regular practice to talk to your child about their 
day.  Check 
teacher websites for work and activities.  Attend Parent Faculty 
Group 
meetings on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the 
library.
