My name is Mrs. Chuka and I teach grade six language arts. Having taught
grade five last year, I look forward to seeing some familiar faces and
getting to know new ones as well.
Some things you might be interested to know about me - this is my 12th year
in education. I have taught grades 5, 6 and 8. I enjoy reading and writing,
and of course helping my students develop in these areas.
When I'm not in the classroom, I am most likely spending time with my
daughter Dani, who is in third grade, and my son Dominick, who is in
Kindergarten. I am also a "mom" to my two little dogs, a silky terrier named
Misty, and a maltese named Sophie. In my spare time, I love to play golf,
watch movies, and of course, READ!
