Do I have to be good in art to get a good grade?

It is my philosophy that all people have a creative side, but maybe haven't
discovered yet what their strengths are. I offer a wide variety of lessons to
excel in. I grade more on originality, following directions, effort, and
neatness. If I see that you are trying your absolute best then you don't have
anything to worry about. Your behavior also plays a vital role in your final
grade. My rules are simple to achieve success, be respectful, safe,
cooperative, empathetic, and a contributor and we'll have a great environment
to creative great works of art!

Can I chew gum in class?

I do not allow gum chewing in class. The privilege was abused last year and I
found wrappers on the floor and it was an overall huge distraction. If you
are caught with gum I will ask you to throw it out the first time. If you are
caught after that you will receive a lunch detention for each time I have to
ask to throw the gum out.
